In this 2 hr workshop, we’ll go over how to define your niche and target audience, build a brand that stands out, craft targeted marketing, and set yourself apart in a saturated market! This is a great class if you’re just starting out and building your creative business, you’ve been doing markets and shows but with inconsistent results or acceptances, or if you are thinking about turning your hobby into a business! This will be an interactive class with time for questions. Bring examples of your art / products if you have them.

ABOUT THE INSTRUCTOR:
Hi! I'm Sarah - a former maker turned maker market coordinator! I've been hosting maker markets and festivals since 2021 and work with about 400 individual small businesses each year at these events. I love small businesses, handmade goods, and being able to provide tools and resources to help makers and artists thrive in their businesses - especially at markets and festivals.
